Wolves in Yellowstone chase a cow elk and her calf. Slober can be seen coming from the mouths of these members of the Hayden Pack as they race past a cow elk. The cycle of life for these animals and their prey is rarely seen by photographers or park visitors. It is much more common to find the wolves after the chase has ended.
