The adult members of the Hayden valley wolf pack howls on a ridge. Another wolf pack can be heard in the distance. The distinctive white female makes this pack of wolves easy to identify. A black wolf pup and a gray wolf pup are distinguishable by their longer hair and shorter legs. The pups shown here are around six months old and do not participate in hunting activities yet.
