There is something about seeing a big grizzly that makes you see better, hear better and makes your heart beat faster. Grizzlies make you feel alive. This big grizzly can run 35 miles per hour. At a distance of 100 yards, that means you have less than ten seconds to climb a tree if he charges. Someone told me that the larger bear in these picctures is known as Thumper and that he likes to jump on tents at night. I like adventure, but wouldn't want be sleeping in a tent when he comes around.
